A nice collection of 10 illustrated children's books, with notable artists to include:

Meggendorfer, Lothar. Travels of Little Lord Thumb and his man Damian. A MovableToy Book. London: H. Grevel & Co. ca. 1890. Seems to lack a title page, but contains all 8 "movable" pages. All are in need of repair, but all or most parts seem to be present. Binding is complete but worn, from much use.

Browning, Robert. Greenaway, Kate (illustrator). The Pied Piper of Hamelin...London George Routledge and Sons...Glasgow and New York. Pictorial board covers, worn from use, but complete. Some internal foxing. Some of Greenaway's best work.

Pycraft, W.P.  Noble, Edwin (illustrator).  The Animal Why Book...New York Frederick A.Stokes...Wells Gardner, Darton and Co., Ltd., London. ca. 1910. Printed on heavy brown paper, illustrations (in color) are mounted onto the pages. Some minor edge wear and very light chipping to a few pages (fore edges). Still, in vg condition.

Field, Eugene. Parrish, Maxfield (illustrator). Poems of Childhood. First Scribner's Edition, 1904.  All illustrations are present, with glassine protectors. A very good copy, with light wear and a bit of spine fade. Getting harder to find in good, collectible condition.  

Hawthorne, Nathaniel. Parrish, Maxfield (illustrator). A Wonder Book And Tanglewood Tales...NewYork Duffield & Company. MCMXX. A nice, early copy, with light wear to cover, light corner bumps. Solid VG.

Grahame, Kenneth. Parrish, Maxfield (illustrator). Dream Days. John Lane, The Bodley Head, London and New York. 1902. Frontis, pictorial title page, and eight photogravure plates with captioned tissue guards. Front cover with embossed,color illustration. Top edge gilt. Some light wear to covers, else in VG+ condition. This is the first illustrated edition.

Lamb, Charles and Mary. Arthur Rackham (illustrator). Tales from Shakespeare. The Temple Press London W.C. 2. 1909 Apparent first trade editon. Green cloth, with gilt cover snd spine illustrations. Total of 12 illustrations by Rackham. Light wear to edges. VG+ condition.

Verne, Jules.  Wyeth, N.C. (illustrator). Michael Strogoff. New York Charles Scribner's Sons London. Copyright 1927 by Charles Scribner's Sons (no letter code present, verso title page). Good condition. Wear and minor loss to binding, especially at spine tips. Modern (1988) ink inscription to half title.

Paine, Ralph D. Schoonover, Frank E. (illustrator). Blackbeard Buccaneer. The Penn Publishing Company Philadelphia 1922. First Penn Illustrated Edition. Six fine illustrations by Schoonover. Cloth covers with gilt front cover and spine. Front cover with paper illustration applied. Light wear, and one small (pea sized) chip to front hinge gutter. Otherwise, a fine, tight, copy.

Kelsey, Richmond I. Good Enough Gizmo. Houghton Millfin Company Boston. Riverside Press 1948. First Edition. A charming tale of Gizmo, a bug, who lived on the island of Goodenough, off the coast of New Guinea, and his travels around the Pacific. Edgeware and chips to spine tips. VG.
