Benedict is in very good condition, noting the damp stains to some internal pages of vol. 1. Some signatures in vol 1 are slightly pulled.  Waite New Hampshire book is in VG+ condition, with some minor wear and scufffs . Schouler book is in VG condition, with some expected age related spotting and light wear. The binding is very slightly skewed from being stored improperly.  Pennsylvania book is fair. The heavy text block is causing the hinges to split from the text block. There is some associated chipping to the poor quality paper. The binding shows some wear and fading.   New York at Gettysburg set is in good condition with wear and soiling from age. The internal hinges are mostly split, again due to the weight of the text block and the poorer quality of the paper. But they are still holding. Covers all show some fading. Volume 1 with the most, volume 3 has some damp staining issues on the back cover.

Crafts set is in good condition, with wear to the covers and spine. Hinges cracked but holding (back cover to vol 1 is nearly off). Internally it is very good.  Abbott is as statted, a recent rebind. The text is in very good condition, and both vols have ads at the end. Storke set is in good-very good condition. Some general wear all over. One inner joint split in vol 2. Some spine fading. Coffin set shows some minor wear to vol 1. All other volumes are in near fine condition. All in all, a great collection.

Books 4-9 are all in similar very good condition, with light wear. Book 3 is in good condition with wear and soiling to the cvovers. The spine cloth is just starting to come off the spine, and has a longitudinal split. Hinges are weak, but all is holding together.  Book 2 has some wear and scuffs to the leather and all edges have some loss. Front hinge with partial splint, so it is a bit weak. It is housed in a plastic cover (as are the others). Book 1 is in very good condition. Edge wear, and some slight damage to the spine at top front and the bottom front hinge (gutter). Inner hinges are split and the front inner hinge has been reglued.

Willson's 126th is in fair condition, showing evidence of having been sored in damp conditions.  Wrinkled and dampstained covers. The text block is remarkably ok, with no "stuck" pages. 9th Reg. book is good-very good with edge wear and chipping at the spine ends. Pages are toned. Book is a bit shaken, but ok. 120th Reg. book is in very good condition with only light wear. Fighting 14th book is in very good condition. Very light wear and clean and nice inside. The NJ 1st Brigade book is in good- condition, with usual ex-lib stamps and label, but the text block is startting to shed signatures. Nothing missing.
