Group of 7 (mostly) larger-sized historic medallions depicting historical figures. A. Bovy 1832 dated medallion depicting Georges Cuvier (1769-1832), a famous zoologist and paleontologist who investigated the structure of living and fossil animals, and largely founded the sciences of comparative anatomy and paleontology. Benno Elkan signed bronze for Wingfield Morris Orthopaedic Hospital. Martin van Buren 'Peace and Friendship' silver-plated medallion (holed), Louis Pasteur medal, Georges Crouzat 'Saint Martin' medal, and a Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia medal mounted to shield-form wooden plaque.
