Three sets of fine bindings. To include: Plutarch's Lives In Six Volumes. The Third Edition (Wrangham). London: 1819. Full leather bindings with gilt borders and spines. Professionally rebacked. Spines with thick raised bands forming 5 compartments. Two leather spine labels to each spine. Marbled endpapers. Frontis to Vol. 1. Shelley. The Complete Poetical Works. Revised, with notes, by W. M. Rossetti. London: John Clark...1881. Unsigned bindings, but beautifully executed in full violet-blue leather with gilt coat-of-arms to each front cover. Ruled in gilt and blind. Spines with 5 raised bands and fully gilt compartments. Two spine labels to each volume. All edges gilt. Each volume with a fronts and an errata sheet at the end. 8 vo. The Poetical Works of Robert Browning With Portraits...London Smith, Elder, & Co...1900. Bound by Reviere and Son in 3/4 indigo blue leather with light blue covers and pale blue marbled end papers. Top edge gilt. Spines with raised bands forming six panels with gold ruled borders. Frontis portrait to each volume. 8vo.

Condition
Plutarch: Expertly rebacked. Some fraying to spine tops, corners bumped with some loss, all edges show shelf wear. Light damp stains to fore-edge bottoms. Display nicely.
Shelley: Spines are lightly sunned. Wear to high spots. Light damp stains to front and back covers. Other very small rubs. Display nicely.
Browning: Bindings with light shelf wear and light soiling. Corners lightly bumped without loss. Pages toned. Display nicely.
